Creating a “home away from home” for Londoners – that was the stated goal of co-founder Evgeny Kuzin, who brought the feeling of a seaside holiday to the British metropolis with the opening of the Greek-Mediterranean restaurant Gaia. Designed by the award-winning interior design studio First Within, the restaurant celebrates core elements of Greek culture through azure blue furniture, domed arches, Hellenic statues, and limestone walls – an approach that also characterizes existing Gaia restaurants in Dubai, Monte Carlo, and Doha. But it doesn’t stop at the design. A fresh fish counter, a traditional wood-fired oven, and a vintage-style wine cellar also ensure an authentic Greek culinary experience.
As an ode to the Greek earth goddess Gaia, cocktails inspired by the earth, the sun, the mountains, and the sea can be found on the menu.
