The Four Seasons opened on the artificial island of “The Pearl,” named after a former pearl diving site, not far from Doha. In addition to a luxurious hotel stay, guests can also enjoy their days in one of 161 apartments ranging in size from 105 to 280 square meters—or even settle down permanently. The open-plan design of the hotel rooms and apartments is European in style, characterized by a warm color palette, contemporary furniture, and elegant parquet floors.
An entire floor is dedicated to physical well-being: here, a spa with marble mosaics, numerous treatment rooms, and an impressive indoor pool invite you to linger. The spa’s design philosophy revolves around the Arabic word for pearl, “loulou,” which also stands for preciousness, peace, and tranquility. The outdoor area offers a choice between the beach or the pool, and guests are treated to smoothie bowls, ceviche, maki, or homemade ice cream at the in-house beach club. An extensive and excitingly curated art collection extends throughout the entire building. The focus is on contemporary local artists.
