“Our interior is pure and simple and without any frills“ says owner Robert Zimmermann about his restaurant. This statement is overmodest. The green leather benches with Chesterfield quilting, the white chairs and the colossal mirror have been attracting Cologne’s in-crowd into the restaurant of the Apropos concept store for years.
“It’s about indulgence“ says the likable and immaculately dressed host. He focuses on well prepared comfort-food and stays away from anything kooky. For example: ravioli filled with asparagus, burrata and wild garlic or yellow fin tuna, wok veggies and wasabi mashed potatoes. A favorite classic is the mixed salad with wonderfully marinated turkey breast slices.
