Tim Raue says: “Who wants what he must is free.” „One thing is for sure: the German chef with loads of international attention definitely wants what he must.

Two Michelin stars in his Berlin restaurant carrying his name are not enough for the former member of the “36 boys” street gang. Besides several restaurants in Germany’s capitol and other German cities, he took the liberty to open his first restaurant in Dubai in November 2016.

The interior of the “Dragonfly” reminds visitors of an Oriental tea room. The ambience is gaudy and opulent, the culinary concept Asian and ambitioned.

Tim Raue combines Japanese perfection, Thai aromas with a Chinese kitchen philosophy that survives without the use of refined sugar, white flour and gluten.

Raue classics such as the “Wasabi Langoustine Kanton Style”, the “Beijing Duck Tim Raue“ and the “Turbot with ten year old Kamebishi Soy Sauce” are just as appetizing as the “Seabream Sashimi with Furikake and Tapioka”, “Dim Sum with black truffle, hazelnuts and water spinach” or “Shanghainese Beef with Papaya and Tomatos”.
