Basically as a supporting act, German actress Jessica Schwarz is running the hotel “Die Träumerei” (‘The Dreamery’) with her sister Sandra in the quaint village Eichelstadt in the Odenwald, 70 kilometers from Frankfurt. The fact that she performs as a hotelier just as much as before the camera was proven not only by the tenth anniversary of the boutique hotel but also by the opening of another on August 15, 2018, with an equally relaxed name “Träum Weiter” (‘Dream On’) on the same date.

The first hotel, in a historic timber building built in 1623, was restored with great respect for the original substance, using natural materials and designed stunningly. And also for the new hotel in a building from 1640 the two sisters collaborated with the well-tried architects.

The two houses are close by and are real design hotels: Each of the ten generous double rooms has its own identity expressed via colors, materials, accessories and its own name. What could sound more inviting than spending a night in Smaragdwald (‘Jade Forest’) or  Goldspeicher (‘Gold Storage’)?

Strictly speaking, the “Die Träumerei” consists of only  four double rooms. The fifth one named “Vergissmeinnicht” (Forget-me-not) is located across the street in the house of the two sisters’ parents. It is Jessica’s childhood room and has been turned into a large suite.
