On top of that, the hotel on a high plateau is embedded on one the most picturesque landscapes of the State of Salzburg and awaits with a stunning mountain and valley panorama.
But the hotel is not only a true comfort refuge because of its natural setting in the Hohen Tauern mountains and the Gastein valley – architecture and interior design present themselves close to nature and home country. With regional materials such as oak and Swiss stone pine wood, clay and leather as well as linen, cotton and loden a cozy and authentic atmosphere has been created. On top, custom made furniture pieces and a warm color scheme assure an alpine ambience in light flooded rooms.
The name of the hotel is a reminiscence to gold mining that formerly took place in Gastein and that gave the valley glorious times.
