Even though – or maybe even because – Tim Raue is rarely seen on TV, there is a big hype about him in Germany. The two-starred chef wouldn’t have much time for TV shootings anyways. Tim Raue has become a brand – and the brand is heavily expanding.

Besides in his restaurant in Berlin Kreuzberg, he his stirring his cooking spoon in several kitchens across the country and even across the globe: in the Sra Bua by Tim Raue in the Adlon Hotel, in the La Soupe Populaire in the former Bötzow Brauerei in Berlin, in the Hanami by Tim Raue on Mein Schiff, in the Restaurant Liè Sun by Tim Raue in Dubai – and on top in Munich’s and Berlin’s Restaurant Colette.

As the name suggests, Asia fan Raue takes us to France in these restaurants. The menu features Bœuf Bourguignon, lamb à la Barigoule, Confit de Canard and Tarte au Citron. You dine in a casual brasserie atmosphere. Architects collected furniture with patina for it. They were collected in vintage store and make sure the restaurant radiates an lived-in feeling from the beginning on.

Signature Dish: sea bream with ratatouille.
