The boutique hotel is housed in a listed Kolping House dating back to 1904 and is just a ten-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral.
The Augustin restaurant, run by German Michelin-starred chef Eric Werner, is inspired by the romantic gardens of the 18th century and offers a harmonious transition to the hotel’s idyllic courtyard.
During the renovation of the hotel, which reopened in April 2024, particular attention was paid to sustainability and resource conservation. Existing wood paneling was revitalized with Farrow & Ball’s special Hague Blue paint.
This blue hue is a recurring theme throughout the rooms, the restaurant, and the hotel’s public areas. The lobby extends a warm welcome with its relaxed atmosphere.
The Murano glass chandeliers from Dobrodzień lend the restaurant a special atmosphere.
