The restaurant (founded in 1905) is located on the ground floor of a 17th Century  Neo-classical building and is an institution in Brussels. liegt im Erdgeschoss eines neoklassizistischen Gebäudes aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und ist eine Brüsseler Institution.

Several architects were involved in the design of the interior. In the beginning of the 20th Century, architect Maurice Grimme, several years later C. Wenmaekers. In the main hall spectacular ceramic wall tiles attract the views – these art works from the Belgian traditional manufacturer Helman became a UNESCO world heritage.

A further area with a contemporary look was added to the patriarchal interior.

Tradition and culture play a huge role here: The Chez Vincent attracted many famous artists for private family dinners, among them Jacques Brel. The restaurant participates at the Days of Brussels’ Cultural Heritage every year and turns into a museum for two days.
