What is special about the chez Douverne is that there is a store of the Swedish bedding manufacturer Hästens in the ground floor of luxuriously endowed organic hotel. Those who aim to purchase one of the beds made of fine natural materials can test the sleeping comfort over night in the hotel.
Hotel and shop are located in an old winery built in 1680. It was restored in an environmentally compatible manner and furnished with a lot of attention to detail. All this can be found in the scenic village Sommerach, a historic wine village with abut 1,400 inhabitants and picturesque baroque setting.
