From 22–26 September, Bologna hosts the 42nd Cersaie, a leading international exhibition dedicated to ceramics, bathroom design and innovative surface solutions for contemporary living. The 2025 Manifesto introduces a layered, three-dimensional vision of responsible design, exploring how spaces reflect and shape modern life. Visitors can expect 155,000 sqm of sold-out exhibition space reconfigured to highlight cutting-edge ceramics, prestige surfaces like wood and marble, and innovative cladding solutions and a framework, where architecture, materials research, and cultural exchange intersect. There are new thematic halls for installation mastery, design talks at The Square and press cafés with leading media partners. The Architecture Lounge curated by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli offers immersive perspectives on making and meaning. With macro imagery celebrating the tactile beauty of materials, Cersaie 2025 is a dynamic ecosystem for architects, designers, and anyone passionate about shaping how we live, work, and travel.
