For a long time, the traditional pub “The Harp” on Meyerinckplatz in Charlottenburg was a fixture of the Berlin pub scene. Now it has been converted by studio karhard® into the new BRLO brewpub.
The interior bears the same design signature as the previously opened pubs at Gleisdreieck and the luxury department store KaDeWe: mastic asphalt, split basalt tiles, and steel dominate, while wood lends a gentle warmth.
While there is a lively atmosphere around the free-standing bar with 20 taps, the brewmaster’s table and the chef’s table provide space for several people and more intimate gatherings. Upholstered benches and long wooden tables give the dining area a cozy atmosphere.
At its Charlottenburg location, the BRLO brewery focuses primarily on vegetarian dishes, but also offers high-quality meat side dishes. A highlight for the neighborhood and guests from all over the world is the Späti with its growler station. Here, draft beers, bottled and canned beers, and merchandise can be taken home at night.
