Located in a glass cub under the viaduct at the Vogesenplatz, you can find the Bar Brut in a unique architectural ambience.
Inspired by the exposed concrete building, the interior also shows a lot of concrete: A lot of the furniture was directly integrated into the room because it was poured. With that, a sophisticated system of mobile walls and areas arose.
The barstools and tables are also made of concrete and steel. The monolithic, poured building style stands in contrast to the the wooden wall panels, that were pre-burned and polished in order to reflect the process of roasting regarding their own coffee roasting facility.
The back wall is a highlight. Concrete and stones were thrown on the wall with ladles to create a textured structure.
