Café Restaurant
New York

There are many Korean restaurants in New York but only a few were opened by Michelin star chefs. Atoboy is the first restaurant in Manhattan that turned Banchan dishes, usually served as appetizers, into the main attraction.

The little delights are served on ceramic plates by Korean brand Soil Baker. The restaurant’s concept was developed by star chef Junghyun Park and his wife, manager Ellia Park.

Together with their partner Hand Hospitality the two also developed the interior design. Concrete walls and floors meet industrial lamps and custom made wooden tables with decorative copper jars for cutlery and napkins.

The rather minimalist interior of the restaurant gets a cozy atmosphere from posters on the walls. These were designed specifically for the restaurant and regularly replaced by new pieces – just like in a gallery.
