“Back to nature” is the motto of Artyzen New Bund 31 Shanghai. The luxurious hotel appears as if it were formed from a single monolithic mass. At the same time, however, it is characterized by diversity: on the ground floor, guests are greeted by a subtly structured concrete façade with a wave pattern.

A large opening near the ceiling in the south façade ensures that natural light floods the seemingly enclosed space. The concept of nature as a recreational space is also applied in the 202 rooms, which are inspired by traditional Chinese gardens.

However, the heart of the hotel is on the fifth floor, which guests reach from the intimate lobby. This is where all the hotel’s important public areas are located, such as the reception, lounge, restaurant, tapas bar, event rooms, and outdoor gardens.

With its diverse outdoor areas, Artyzen New Bund 31 Shanghai conveys a sense of tranquility amid the bustling city.
