Since the 1970s, the former Hostal Armesto, located between Paseo del Prado and Galerías Canalejas in the vibrant heart of the capital, has been a popular destination for adventurous travelers.
Now, after a complete restoration under the management of Jesús Díaz Osuna, it has been upgraded to a boutique hotel as Armesto Rooms. A special feature that is not so rare in Madrid: the location on the second floor. Febrero Studio took a bold approach to the transformation: Enlarging the rooms meant reworking the layout of the sanitary areas.
Reminiscences of the tourism history of recent decades were also incorporated.
The varying color palette of textiles and tiles refers to the different room sizes.
