Anker

urgemütlich. modern. genussvoll. feurig.
Hotel
Lucerne

The Anker at the Pilatusplatz has been a meeting point for the working class since it was built in 1914, a real people place, that served as political exchange place until the present. The house closed in 2014 and after two years of renovation only the historic facade reminds of the old Anker.

Nothing reminds of the past in the interior. Now the new Anker shines with its colorful and playful interior that spreads from the lobby to the bar and lounge to the 40 stylish and very cozy rooms.

The hotel’s restaurant is firy. Delights such as aged Rib Eye or Flat Iron Steaks are cooked on the grill. The rustic tables remind of the old working class meeting point.

Lucerne is the perfect excursion city! Great for example: a boat trip on Lake Lucerne from Lucerne to Vitznau and from there by rack railway to the Rigi.
