Behind this Victorian façade lies a very special interior design concept: it plays with the bustling port city of San Francisco during the post-war era of the 1950s and 1960s. This means that nautical elements are depicted as if through the porthole of a modern ship. Rich walnut wall paneling meets a color palette ranging from sea blue to coral red.
But the 7 Adams restaurant, run by chef couple David Fisher and Serena Chow Fisher, also offers a contemporary dining concept: some dishes on the menu are surprises, others can be chosen, some come as individual courses, and others are for sharing.
The pine tree motif on the toilet wallpaper refers to David Fisher’s childhood: the house where he grew up was surrounded by countless pine trees.
