The second 25hours Hotel in Zurich is located directly at the track field of the central station and reflects the diversity of the area in its interior designed by Werner Aislinger. It shows references to great Swiss banks as well as the red-light district – and builds bridges to the city’s affinity for art as well as its commercial sense. The topics are played differently in the 170 rooms and public space – sometimes with foto wallpapers with visuals of Zurich’s photographer Nadja Stäubli, sometimes with Japanese erotic impressions by artist Tobias Rehberger.
Vienna’s Florian Kaps of Supersense contributed gaming machines and a vinyl lounge, the Swiss-Slovene duo Veli&Amos a dash of street art. Werner Aisslinger’s ideas build a coherence of the different influences.
The eclectic NENI Restaurant and the Cinchona Bar on the ground floor attract locals as well as guests.
