That is what you call prime location: Only a few steps away from the Tower Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern and the new Bridge Theatre, the Dixon is located in the middle of one of London’s cultural hot spots. The impressive landmark building was built in 1905 and originally hosted the court of the Tower Bridge magistrate; an Edwardian masterpiece that was carefully restored and turned into a hotel.
The interior design unites classic and contemporary elements. Historic details such as the old benches on which culprits used to wait on their verdict and that now can be found in the elevators are especially original. The rest of the interior is dominated by modern boutique vibes: all furniture is custom made and from the Italian brand Lema.
The hotel reflects the culture, creativity and diversity of SE1, London’s cultural postal code.
