The luxurious Sukhothai hotel in Bangkok has received an update. In the new Club Wing, designer Edward Tuttle kept the essence of the 13th century Sukhothai era as well as the elegance and charm of this glorious time.
The designer’s preference for clear and simple lines and his versatile use of materials mirror a cultural sensibility and originality that often award his work as timeless classics.
Regarding exclusivity, the Club Wing tops the hotel’s level of sophistication: Guests travel in an oasis of esthetics and hospitality. The check-in takes place discretely in the hotel room.
Breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes and cocktails are served in a separate lounge. Also lovely: the view onto the 25 meter pool with its mosaic tile, a mirror of the calmness and symmetry of Thai palace architecture.
The La Scala restaurant in the hotel is the only one to have received three forks by the Gambero Rosso Guide as one of the best Italian restaurants outside of Italy.
