The Danish architect Sigurd Larsen, who lives in Berlin, has opened two stores in cooperation with the Danish furniture company Formel A: one in Copenhagen and one in Berlin.
In his store in Berlin-Mitte sofas that he designed for Formel A as well as furniture design that the architect designed for his own label are sold.
Further, books by Berlin’s publishing house Gestalten are sold. They are presented on Larsen’s modular shelf system Oak Shelves.
The interior design of the shop was not supposed to be typically Scandinavian or puristically white. Instead, Larsen and the Formel A design team opted for pink and a bright green.
Some of the furniture pieces sold in the store, such as the Fesses stool, were originally designed by Sigurd Larsen for the Nordic embassies in Berlin.
