The hotel in the booming Business Bay District – Dubai’s youngest hip district – features 298 guest rooms, among them 65 generous suites. The design was developed by the renowned interior designers of WA International and lives from its strong contrasts.
Inspired by the surrounding sand dunes, the creatives included black and golden shades and with that achieved a fluid effect that reminds of the view through cloudy glass surfaces. The long hallways feel like the golden waves of dunes shaped by wind. The walls are dominated by a dry, almost broken effect.
Lush fabrics, sand colored leather accents and natural wood decoration add to the matte gold and metal fittings that change dramatically with changing daylight.
