The POTS’ concept is German cuisine 2,0. The fact that Berlin’s gastronomy scene is flooding the restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton is not only due to the concept but but also to the two creative heads behind it. A congenial duo is collaborating in the POTS: chef Frederik Grieb and patron Dieter Müller.

A young wild one meets experienced, highly decorated top chef. A view onto the menu confirms this: top rate products and German receive a modern twist, popular classics from all of the country’s region an innovative interpretation and all of the German cuisine’s styles are mixed in a fearless manner.

The creative meals are also served in a contemporary manner: In the evening they are served as uncomplicated sharing food to make the dinner a joint experience.

The interior design of the POTS matches the idea of sharing food: a long dining table at which guests can communicate and an open show kitchen create a casual atmosphere. On top, cozy sitting areas and movable dividers as well as a separate dining room for small parties maximize the comfort.

Host and sommelier Mathias Brandweiner offers 200 selected exclusively German wines in his cellar. His special focus is on unknown winemakers who are special insider tips.
