Mediterranean fragrance, Sardinian cuisine, Italian Style: In London’s Olivo Restaurant, Mediterranean cuisine and an unusual architectural concept are among the most important ingredients.

Architect Pierluigi Piu created a cozy and intimate atmosphere with dark colors and soft lighting. For the wall design, he picked a special eye catcher: the tapestries look like Sardinian textiles but are actually reliefs made of resin and cement.

With the “Frida” chair by Pedrali a true design star is part of the interior. The chair won the most important design trophy, the Compass d’ora, in 2011.

Besides many pasta dishes, the restaurant serves meat and fish from the charcoal grill.
