After the pool of the historic public bath on the Oderberger Straße was dry for 30 years, you can swim here again since the fall of 2016.

Between the years of 1898 to 1902, the former public bath was built by the architect Ludwig Hoffmann. In 1986 the bath had to be closed. Until 2012, it was mainly deserted and only used sporadically for exhibits and parties.

The extensive renovation considering strict historic codes took five years. A boutique hotel with restaurant, bar, seminar rooms and spa was also opened in the rooms of the bath.

The Oderberger Spa in the vault of the city bath with Finnish sauna, ice fountain and a resting room in natural colors was opened in 2017. There is a direct access to the pool with its archways and sacral architecture.

The swim hall is also used as an event location. Thanks to the lifting platform, the pool can be used for events without draining the water.
