Café Restaurant
Berlin

“Mediterranean meets Middle Eastern” is the theme of Berlin’s wonderful restaurant Layla. The creative head behind the dishes is cosmopolitan chef Meir Adoni from Israel, who after Tel Aviv and New York set up camp in the German capitol.

He follows the high goal to redefine the traditional Middle Eastern cuisine.  He mixes flavors, ingredients and techniques from all over the planet with traditional dishes and seasons them with local products.
The interior was arranged by Tel Aviv’s design studio BALD to match the culinary concept. Oriental accessories add a contemporary warm atmosphere without kitsch.

Special Tips

A nightcap at the bar is a must! Mediterranean herbs and Oriental spices are mixed into the drinks.
