The Rue de Berthas been a renown living address for aristocrats, royal families and French VIPs since the 19th Century.

Rather logical that the new  Hôtel de Berri – in the 19th and 20th Century the private villa of celebrities like Princess Mathilde Bonaparte and fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli – mirrors the lifestyle of these personalities. Art-Deco pioneers, painters, designers and style icons from Coco Chanel to Salvador Dalí served as sources of inspiration.

The whole house features selected Parisian art and design elements. Works by Giacometti, Jean-Michel Frank, Madeleine Castaing, Henri Samuel and David Hicks are spread throughout the rooms and floors.
