A hotel in the Midtown Athletic Club Chicago, the greatest fitness property in the USA? That sounds like a sporty job. It was tackled by the local studio DMAC Architecture, specialists for large urban projects. “Among other things, we work on freeing ourselves from unnecessary furniture” says DMAC boss Dwayne MacEwan about the project
The result is luxurious rooms with wooden floors, large windows and lots of light. The Hotel at Midtown also features two very special suites: a two stories high and 2,100 square meters large Penthouse Suite with a private terrace and view of the city as well as the V Suite. It was designed by V STARR Interiors, the design company of tennis legend Venus Williams.
