Palermo in Milan: Filippo La Mantia is not just a restaurant, it is a declaration of love to Sicily, the home of chef that gave the restaurant its name.
For the interior, the Sicilian teamed up with his friend Piero Lissoni, a super star in the design world. It is very visible that La Mantia is an emotional character. Guests are supposed to come not only to eat but also to relax. That is why there are cozy sofa areas as well as nicely decorated tables.
The restaurant serves colorful dishes with the bright colors and aromas of the South Italian cuisine. The citrus pesto made of oranges, basil, capers and oil is a favorite.
Special Tips
The restaurant already opens at 7.30 am and serves breakfast pastries as from Mama La Mantia from Sicily and free WLAN to surf or work.
