The Erwins is one of those places where you don’t want to change a thing, a little jewel hidden behind an inconspicuous blue door in the lively Borough High Street.
When you come in or rather up as the restaurant is located above a pub, it is almost as stepping into a magical world. Somehow you still can tell that the curiosity dealer Edwin Brady used to have his shop there in Victorian times.
The Erwins has been decorated with a lot of love for detail – and, besides the name, some of the whimsical objects can be regarded as homage to Mr Brady. The menu features typical British meals with a contemporary twist: new English cuisine at its best!
Friends of perfectly mixed cocktail classics will also enjoy the Edwins.
