Casaplata

pure. colorful. raw. sparse.
Café Restaurant
Seville

In Seville’s Casaplata, daring and colorful furniture meet raw concrete. With their wonderful concept, Lucas y Hernandez-Gil aim to look into the future. Nostalgic references are avoided in order to differentiate from the established gastronomies in the historic center.

The view is focused forward. History is supposed to be written newly, not copied. However, the Spanisch architecture studio allowed themselves one reference: one to the still lifes of the Italian painter Giorgio Morandi, on which strong colors appear on a silver background.

Not hungry? You can visit the Casaplata also just for a cocktail… I
