Café Restaurant
Paris

Designer Dorothée Meilichzon’s special sense for drama with British  undertones is combined with Mediterranean accents in this restaurant.

The inviting color sky blue has a special meaning. It is combined with the shine of brass, the natural charm of terracotta, with enamel from Auvergne, lots of linnen and cotton to create an impressive scenery.

The intention behind that is to foster exchange and conversation. The show kitchen adds to that. The seating benches were also designed by and remind of the Maghreb: a low wooden structure is completed with thick pillows.

The cocktail bar is unusual: light pink velvet on the wall, alabaster fireplace and a 90cm low counter that lets the barmen get close to guests.
