Jean-Luc Godard’s science fiction classic ’Alphaville’ has not lost its charisma. The 60s filmset continues to inspire creatives all over the world – including Joyce Wang for the interior of Hong Kong’s restaurant Ammo. She focused on one material: high-gloss copper connects luxury with industrial chic and the military past of the building as an ammunition warehouse. Home-made pasta with an Asian twist is served in this explosive environment. The bar attracts with cocktail aromas of the Sous-Vidi-Garer.
The pasta is made fresh daily. The clou: the eggs are important from Italy and come from ethical farms.
