Sticks 'N' Sushi

scandinavian. minimal. subtle. luxurious.
Café Restaurant
London

London’s King’s Road in the exclusive Chelsea district is posh. How pleasant to see that some parts of it are down-to-earth or interpret luxury in a non pompous manner. Such as in the restaurant Sticks ‘N’ Sushi designed by Danish Norm Architects. The minimalistic signature with a mix of Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetic dominates the rooms spread over three levels.

The atmosphere of each floor is influenced by different light moods. While dark nuances and materials were used downstairs, it gets lighter and lighter moving upwards. On the top floor, the open floor plan radiates generosity. Tables, stairs and partitions are make of oak and transparent textiles build light flooded elements. Contemporary luxury also works without bragging.

Small groups can reserve a semi-private dining room in an intimate ambience around a large marble table under lantern-like lamps.
